In my absence I have: attended 2 city council meetings, planted raspberries, lavender and pulled up hideous red mulch put down years ago, worn a mascot's costume to promote libraries in the state at an annual district meeting, watched several good films, imbibed a new beverage L calls the Green Bug, and have managed to read very little. Why does one thing have to suffer for another? I am nearly done with The Namesake. I'm savoring it. My latest excitement over music, other than the [English] Beat touring with 311 is the best of collection of the Replacements called Don't You Know Who I Think I Was? Of course, I am a year late in my admiration. It was released in June of 2006. Never mind. That's where I've been.
