I cleaned out the lasagna bed today, which included ripping out the cannibal morning glories. They choked out many of the plants nearby the metal trellis that we put in the center of the bed. I left the chives, oregano, catnip and celeriac be and planted crocus and grape hyacinth bulbs to enjoy in the spring. This is the last bouquet of the year, placed in the .25 creamer I got at a yardsale.

OK, what the hell is a lasagna bed?
Layers of compost, manure, peat, etc.
