I believe in underdogs

I am feeling uninspired, blogically, except I'm happy that tomorrow is our 2nd wedding anniversary. That's pretty cool. I'm also inspired by Spoon. I'm not sure what the rest of the album sounds like, but this song is brilliant.

We went to a sporting goods store on Saturday, where they were setting up a display of merchandise for the Red Sox and their clinching of the division. The thought occurred to me that they print t-shirts in advance to the results of things like this, and the Super Bowl, etc. What happens to those shirts, balls and hats when the team loses? Do they become collector's items? Do they get torched somewhere, or stored in a huge warehouse of unrecognized dreams of disappointed fans?

Haha, I just heard that song in a Wendy's on Saturday. I was impressed with myself that I remembered who it was after watching the video once about 2 months ago. Cool song.

I like to read about the music you are listening to, its usually good, and the movies you've watched, especially the foreign ones. "The Lives of Others" is in the mail and I should be watching that this weekend.

Thanks, Malationman. If you like history you'll like the film. It's actually really redemptive. L and I shed a tear att the end. I can't always say that about German films.

I have wondered the same about the sporting goods stuff like at the superbowl when they bring out the hats and shirts, you know they had to made up for both teams.

Good song. I am so out of touch anymore.

I did read two book from the library this week. I loves that place. I don't know why I had to do the incorrect grammer thing, but I did.

My guess about the merchandise that doesn't end up going on the shelves is that they only make a certain amount, and if the team doesn't end up winning, they either fix them somehow to use them for the winning team, or they just destroy them somehow.
