Of course, it's easy to get distracted by things like Danskos
and books.
Conspicuous consumption is something I learned about in a college honors class. I read Thorstein Veblen, and Theodore Dreiser, but still I didn't learn. It's like my habit of buying yarn and fabric, but creating nothing in return. Now I'm on my way to paying off the debt I created with nothing to show in return.
