Sicko

Here I am at home, during the day, when I am normally doing my library thing at work. I've got one of those lingering nasty colds, which matches this rainy, nasty spring day. We watched The Island last night, although I fell asleep. The story intrigued me, but I was just beat from this tedious cold. I found the concept similar to The Village, in an obviously more futuristic way.

Off for a cup of tea and a read.

I thought The Island was about clones grown to heal real people on the "mainland". I've wanted to see it, even though it's a Michael Bay bomb.

Oh yeah, I hope you, and the weather, get better soon. :-)

That is the film. My comparison to The Village is mainly how the people are unaware how artificial their surroundings are.

The cold (climate and health) will go away eventually!

Ah, I see. Good point, but you just gave away The Village for people who haven't seen it. ;-)

I'm not entirely sure who else is reading this but I know that the few people who are have seen it (I hope). I hate it when people spoil movies.
