Last night we watched The Devil Came on Horseback. It literally made me sick to my stomach. Brian Steidle, the voice you hear here and who the film is about, worked in Sudan as an observer for the African Union during the peace accord in 2004. He took hundreds of photographs and witnessed firsthand the government condoned violence in the region of Darfur. He came home frustrated and outraged, since the world sits by watches peaceful people being butchered by their own government. He is using his experience to help bring peace and stability to Darfur.

Oh my God! I've been hearing a lot about Darfur for the last few years, but that was the most vivid I had seen or heard about it.
