300

300 is my husband's favorite film. It's also the the number of posts I have written as of today. This blog was born the winter of 2004 and died shortly thereafter, only until I really motivated myself to be more disciplined about writing. L also bought me a laptop, which was an immense help. This is cheaper than therapy and is actually an excellent archive of things that happen in my life that I sometimes forget. I'm most pleased with some of the titles of my posts. It reminds me of when I entered the scary world of Internet dating a long time ago and had to come up with a phrase to go along with my name. You know the phrase; a simple sentence supposed to both describe you and be a brief synopsis so the people looking at the profile don't have to read the crap you wrote. Some people put things like Looking for love is all the wrong places or Where you have been all my life? I put "What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?" Not many actually got that reference but then again, not many people get me. Despite this, thanks for reading.

I just heard that song in my car today!

Even though I met my first wife through Match.com, I can't for the life of me remember what my tagline was. It was a long time ago, when people could get away with not putting pictures up.

Elvis rules.

I thought 300 was one of the better movies this year. Better than most of the summer action-type movies.
